** --- The conference in Chiba Topics --- **

1: We will make a proposal for FTA.

In 2004, an epoch-making FTA was made between the Republic of the Philippines and Japan. It set labor markets free for the first time, so Philippine nurses and careworkers can work in Japan. Japan continued negotiations with some Asian countries. FTA aims to improve the economic effects of each country by easing restrictions on a national level. It will be possible to create systems finely dividing distribution of profit fairly and collaborate with Asian young people in the community welfare or medical field in order to solve local problems. From our problems here to Asian problems, from Japanese solutions to Asian solutions... we hope to sustain such activities.
In order to make Japan open... we will discuss new systems of cooperation and collaboration which are made at a civilian level.

2: We will discuss the possibility of hospices at home:
the challenge to an advanced aging society.

Recently the attitude towards medical care has been changing, as it is symbolized by spreading the word 'informed consent'. There are different ways of thinking about lives, such as limited life spans because of incurable disease in modern medical science. The number of hospices at home is increasing so that you can spend your last life at home or in the community where you feel at home the best. We will report to you the voices of doctors who are engaged in hospices at home, and possibilities of hospices at homes in Asia.

3: We will introduce examples of community businesses in welfare.

To create as many community welfare businesses
as there are stars

There are so many people in local areas who need extra welfare service, because public services, such as care insurance or supportive payment systems, can't cover everyone's demand. Bringing up as many entrepreneurs as there are stars, who can provide real welfare services that adapt to everyone's condition, making everyone's life livable in one's community. We will introduce the kind of system or service that would be needed.

To create systems to help the aged in each community

Do only staff of welfare institutions or specialists support the aged? Now in an advanced aging society, it's necessary to create systems that citizens support in each community. We will introduce a good example of a small facility with various functions, what used to be an empty house in a shopping area, to create 'the best model relationships'. Everyone including, the aged and the challenged each have a role here.

It expands community bisiness by welfare transfer service to Asia

When person of advanced age and handicap people go to shopping, the hospital and go out around, transfer service is one of necessity service. "Nikoniko-Platform" to NPO Corporation set out service of nursing transfer in Fukuoka Prefecture Amagi City. They are getting down to that bring into existence the whole of welfare transfer as community business not only service of nursing transfer and the model is extended in Asia. He will speak about his approach and business view in the future from aspect of welfare of community business is expanded to Asia.
